Swim 31 miles

Ha. Yeah. No.

There was definitely a time in my life where this goal would have been totally possible. That time was called high school. I am not (thank God) in high school any longer.

I ended up doing just over 16 miles, including the 2.1 miles during the race. I feel okay about that. I don’t feel like I need to step up the swimming at all to prepare for my next races at all. I plan to swim 1-2 times per week for the rest of the winter. I think I’d like to try the open water swim thing again next year so I’ll have to ratchet up the intensity come spring, but I just need to hold steady for the winter.

Bottom Line: eh. Tried, didn’t make it, could have tried a bit harder.
