Make this if you like things that are comforting, warm and tasty (and you aren’t a fancy foodie type that will judge the simple perfection of a good corn casserole):
2 cans corn (or frozen, unthawed)
1 big (7ounce) or 2 small cans green chilis
1 block (8 ounce) cream cheese
2-3 tablespoons butter
Heat your oven to 350. Lightly grease a 2 qt baking dish.
Melt the butter and cream cheese
Mix corn, green chilies and butter/cheese together in the casserole.
Season as desired (I sprinkled some seasoning salt on there).
Cook 25-30 minutes.
Eat and be happy.
